Through National Aerial Resources,
the leading provider of aerial search and retrieval services in
the industry, Aerial Investigations has immediate access to one
of the nation's largest historic aerial photo collections, as
well as over 500 private and public sources of historic aerial
photography. Aerial
Investigations' professionals have over 30 years of experience
using and interpreting aerial photography in many different
professional areas including:
- Site Mapping
- Insurance - term of policy
issues
- Real Estate - boundary
disputes
- Environmental - land use
concerns
- Land use overlays Litigation
- environmental and accidental injury or death
Aerial photographs are analyzed
using a mirror stereoscope. The stereoscope is equipped
with lenses that allow a magnification of three to eight times
the original photo negative scale. All aerial photography
is studied stereoptically utilizing stereo diapositives whenever
available. Diapositives are produced from the original
photo negatives insuring the absolute best photo resolution
possible, and at the same time eliminating chain of custody
issues.
Aerial Investigations does not
use digital aerial photographs for interpretation, nor do we
convert aerial photos to a digital format before interpretation.
This process can degrade the photo resolution by pixilizing the
image.
